Backup power and home climate, from the manuals

GridComfort is a reference for the error codes and faults of home equipment: home standby generators, gas furnaces, and room and portable air conditioners, with dehumidifiers, space heaters and mini-splits alongside. Every page is built from the manufacturer's own documents — owner's and installation manuals, service bulletins and support articles — and lists them at the end, so a code meaning can be checked against the document it came from.

The site is researched and written by Ilyas Alseitov. The About page says who runs it and how corrections are made.

What you won't find here: repair services, quote or lead forms, or instructions for gas, refrigerant or panel wiring work. Where a manual reserves a step for a qualified technician, the page says so and stops there.
